On Tuesday, January 27, 2009 the "Crestmont Fitness Center" at the College for Officer Training had it's Re-Grand Opening, after being updated and remodeled by Crestmont's Maintenance Crew.  Captain Michael Paugh kicked-off the festivities announcing the re-opening and how it came to be.  Captain Nigel Cross read a scripture to the attendees and Major Stephen Smith and Maintenance Foreman, Paul Hellinga concluded the ceremony with the ribbon cutting at the front door.  This project started 18 months ago when the cadet council suggested that the outdated fitness center be remodeled.

The newly remodeled Fitness Center has state-of-the-art equipment, a new padded floor and a mirror wall. It also has a flat screen TV and a DVD player to play exercise videos.
